I called to check and see if a part I needed was in stock to save a 8-9 mile drive to the store. I was put on a brief automated hold until a male answered and asked if I could hold a minute longer. I said ok and went back on hold. After about 15 minutes On hold I decided to drive to the store to check on my part and to see if they were really so busy on a Tuesday evening that they couldn't pick up the phone. For the heck of it I decided to leave the call active just to see how long it would take them to pick up. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that I made it all the way to the store and walked inside with my phone in hand still on hold. There were 2 employees and not a single customer. When one of the employees walked up to the counter to wait on me, I showed him my phone screen and said "what's the deal, I've been on hold over 43 minutes". Rather than apologize or offer any explanation he said "ok, so what" or words to that effect. Unbelievable. I've been doing business with this store for probably 15 years or more but their customer service is at an all time low. Luckily another auto parts franchise just opened right down the street. I plan to take my business down the street as well. I'll give them a 1 only because there is no option for a zero. Feedback: How about have employees who give a darn about their job and who provide at least some customer service.
